More than 70 of America's biggest companies filed an amicus brief that opposes the antigay Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), including Nationwide Insurance, Xerox & CBS.
Old-line brands like General Mills & Nabisco have taken similar stands in favor of gay rights; others like J.C. Penney & Target are featuring gay-themed ads.
Polls now show support for gay & lesbian rights--including same-sex marriage--is favored by a clear majority of Americans, with that support growing exponentially.
