Romney Is Lying Through His Big White Teeth
Republican Party developed 3 means of bypassing mainstream media & its fact-checkers. Together, these 3 mechanisms are creating a parallel Republican universe of Orwellian dimension-where anything can be asserted, where pollsters & political advisers are free to create whatever concoction of lies will help elect their candidate, & where "fact-checkers" are as irrelevant & intrusive as is the truth.

Federal Court Unanimously Rules Against Texas Voter ID Law
D.C. Federal Court Unanimously Rules Against Texas Voter ID Law - The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times
A three-judge panel today refused to allow Texas to implement its controversial voter photo ID law, saying the "stringent" measure would harm racial minorities & the poor.
The judicial panel said the law would have a "retrogressive," or backward-moving, effect on minorities. This was a significant win for Obama's Justice Department.

In this article, see the graph prepared by Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
The top layer, the orange one, shows the effect of the Bush tax cuts on debt. Those cuts added more to the debt than any other single policy decision.

"Critics may call it “porkulus,” but the stimulus was also the first modern spending bill with no official legislative earmarks, the usual definition of “pork.” And after experts warned that 5 to 7 percent of the money could be lost to fraud, investigators documented only $7.2 million in losses through 2011, about 0.001 percent."
